Your Rain Gauge subscription is paused in Ring, so the gauge isn't updating. Rain from before the pause is still here.
Add your ZIP code below to start the gauge.

Storms
No storms yet. Every storm of 0.04 in (1 mm) or more appears here, with a photo from your camera at its heaviest hour when the camera has one.
Where the numbers come from
Rainfall is NOAA's MRMS MultiSensor estimate: weather-radar rainfall corrected against rain-gauge reports, published each hour about an hour after the hour ends. Rain Gauge reads it for the centre of your ZIP code (a square about 1 km across). It is an estimate for your area, not a gauge in your yard: rain can vary a lot over short distances in a thunderstorm. Hours NOAA didn't publish are counted as missing, never as dry.
Your camera doesn't decide how much it rained. The photos are there so you can see what the yard looked like at the heaviest hour.

Changing the ZIP starts a new gauge for the new place, with two weeks filled in.
